Personal

Heather was born in Northampton and raised in beautiful South Amherst. She went to Amherst Regional Public Schools and graduated from the UMass Amherst Theater Department. Her mother is an Amherst native which has given her an amazing understanding of all the Pioneer Valley has to offer. Her father was a professor for over 30 years in the Hospitality and Tourism Management Department. During her childhood and early adult life, she worked at her family's popular breakfast and lunch spot in town, Nancy Janes. She loved working there and getting to know so many wonderful people in the Amherst community and visitors from all over the world. After college, she lived in New York City for many years and worked as an actor and singer, and then as in sales in the wine and spirits industry. While in NYC, she moved 8 times in 12 years which sparked her love for real estate. After NYC, she relocated to the Boston area where she began my career in real estate full time and immediately knew helping people with their real estate goals was exactly what she wanted to do. Heather and her family and moved back to the Happy Valley and she is grateful to be here again during this stage of life. She resides in Amherst with her chef husband turned High School Culinary Teacher, Anthony, their two active boys and sweet dog. Meghan Coy is thrilled to be partnering with experienced agent Heather Ferrari to support home buyers, sellers, and investors throughout their real estate journeys. In her role as the operations manager and licensed Realtor?, she works closely behind the scenes to ensure every transaction runs smoothly, efficiently, and with the care our clients deserve. Originally from Colorado and raised in New Hampshire, she fell in love with the Pioneer Valley while attending UMass Amherst, where she earned my degree in education. After more than a decade in Florida, Meghan and her family are excited to be back in Amherst, where the sense of community feels like home. Her background in education and management?along with a master?s degree in Instructional Design and Learning Technology?has shaped her approach: thoughtful, organized, and client-centered. Whether she's managing details or walking clients through next steps, her goal is always to create a seamless experience. When she's not working, you?ll likely find her hiking local trails, cheering on her teenage sons at their sporting events, volunteering in the schools, or walking her two beloved greyhounds around town. Laura Clark was born on the South Shore of Boston and raised in Cohasset, Massachusetts. As a child, she spent many summer vacations on Cape Cod at my family's home in Falmouth. In 1997, she came to Amherst to attend UMass, and have called the Pioneer Valley home ever since. After college, she bought her first home in Belchertown, and then moved to Amherst in 2020. As a longtime homeowner, Realtor, and proud mom of three boys, she offers genuine local insight and a deep appreciation for this community. She is excited to be returning to real estate, after stepping away for the past several years to serve as an educator in the Amherst School district. Her background in early childhood and special education makes her uniquely qualified to serve every client with exceptional communication skills, professionalism, patience, and dedication. Outside of work, she is a fitness and wellness enthusiast, with a love for exercise, meditation, and dance. She also enjoys spending time with her boys, playing pickleball and tennis, and taking long hikes with their dog. Tony Ferrari has been coming to the Pioneer Valley regularly since 2004 and has made Amherst his permanent home. His background is in luxury hotel and restaurant operations as well as kitchen design. He is originally from Long Island, New York and lived and worked in New York City as a professional chef up until 2014 when his family relocated to the Boston area. He is excited to be teaming up with his lovely and talented wife, Heather Ferrari helping home buyers, sellers and investors on their real estate journeys. When Tony is not scouring the listings and pounding the pavement for his clients, he enjoys cooking at home, anything to do with nature or the ocean and spending time with Heather, their two energetic boys and sweet dog.
