I come from a family of architects, real estate developers and contractors. Right out of high school, I worked on hundreds of Chicago area homes at my father’s construction company, and later starting my own contracting business. At 25, I bought land and built my first home. It’s safe to say, my interest in real estate has been life-long. Drawn by the beauty of the area, I moved to the Berkshires in 1995. Since founding Timbercraft Homes, it’s been my pleasure to design and build high-end custom homes in the Berkshires. By cultivating relationships based on trust and good communication, I’ve helped numerous clients realize their dreams. I’ve developed many enduring connections over the years, and am proud to say my clients are presently some of my best friends. Since 2004, I have served on the board at Construct Inc., a wonderful organization that provides comprehensive housing, support and educational services to people who need affordable housing in the Southern Berkshires. I volunteered on many projects including the Women’s transition house, Jordan House in Great Barrington, and Pine Woods in Stockbridge. I presently chair the real estate committee. After over 45 years of building, buying and selling properties, becoming a REALTOR® was a natural—even overdue—next step. I am glad to have been on the LVRE team since 2018. We are best of the best in Berkshire County and we strive to deliver and help those looking to sell or buy their homes here. I love living in the Berkshires with my wife Caren, and three children, Christa and her husband Tyler, Lukas and his fiancé Makenna, and Liam. FAVORITE PASTIMES: Taking our three Bernese Mountain dogs for walks. Hanging out at Twin Lakes. Watching and participating in a myriad of sports. Attending family gatherings & vacations. MOST PEOPLE WOULDN’T KNOW: I make Barbera wine in my basement with grapes sourced from California.
