Having grown up on Boston’s North Shore, it is no surprise that Mark Burlingham fell in love with Nantucket while visiting at an early age. After graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University, he spent 25 years in the investment business working for The Vanguard Group, Merrill Lynch and Prudential. Mark and his wife, Terri, decided to buy a home in Nantucket in 2003; they become year-round residents in 2007 at which point Mark segued from the field of investment to real estate. He joined Windwalker Real Estate in 2010. When not working, Mark enjoys golf, tennis, biking and scalloping. Among the aspects of Nantucket he most loves and admires is the uniformity of the island’s architecture and beaches “which beg to be walked.”
