About Leanne Baker

Bio

Born in Doylestown, PA, reared and educated in Princeton, NJ, Lili Baker graduated from the Stuart County Country Day School of the Sacred Heart and went on to a earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Anthropology from NYU. A summer vacationer on the island since the early 1960s, she moved here year-round in the early ’70s. As a young woman, a few of her first jobs were dock girl, multi-tasker for the DPW and bartender at the Tavern. She returned to Princeton a decade later, where she earned her real estate license and sold property for N.T. Callaway Realty, a Sotheby’s Associate. Lili moved back to Nantucket in the early 1990′s, to be close to her mother, Marjorie, and continued to practice her real estate profession. In addition to spending time with her horse, dogs and prize-winning chickens, she enjoys cross-country horseback riding and travels abroad extensively. Lili is a member of the DAR’s Abiah Folger Chapter, a member of the Airport Noise Advisory Committee and was Captain of Volunteers for hosting VIPs at the Blue Angels Air Show. She has been an active and productive broker with Jordan Real Estate since 2002. Lili’s gregarious and outgoing personality serves her well in all her endeavors.
