Lauren is the absolute BEST! She helped me and my husband buy our very first home after living in NYC for the past 15 years - not to mention our dream home in the most competitive (COVID) market. Lauren spent so much time with us, between scheduling house viewing during the pandemic, answering our countless panicked phone calls and texts during the contracting and negotiation process, and putting us at ease during every step with her extensive knowledge of the home buying process. From the start we could tell she was the agent we wanted to work with because she really listened to what we were looking for in a home. She didn't waste time sending things that were outside of our (very) specific parameters. She is very knowledgable of the area, down to specific roads all over the Berkshires, without being sales-y or pushy. You could ask her anything from "Do you think internet would be an issue here?" to "Where is the best place for lunch (in this very obscure part of town with no cell service?", and without missing a beat she would have an answer. It really felt like it was like we had a friend who had already done this before who was helping us. When we would do walk throughs, she pointed things out (both good and bad) at properties that we might not have noticed. While we would be focusing on aesthetics, she would be checking for water damage in the basement or quizzing the selling agent on any known history of the property. She always acted in our best interest - not hers. Her goal was for us to be happy with our decision, not for her to get a paycheck. As first time buyers she made us super comfortable and confident in our decisions and was always there to answer questions, big or small. She?s positive, a pleasure to be around and held our hand throughout the entire process. We cannot recommend her enough!
