"I am writing this letter of recommendation for KellyAnne Sohigian as an extremely satisfied customer. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and follow-up set her apart from any other realtor we have ever dealt with.
I was originally re-located from Boston to Fairfield County in 2006. With both my wife and I working full time and schedules extremely tight, we were thrilled to have Kelly work with us to understand our needs, our budgets, and aspirations for our next home. She made great use of our time when we came down to search for homes, and within 2 months we found the right home, at the right price, in the right location.
Now fast forward to the Spring of 2013, add twins, and a completely new view on what we needed in a home. Much to our disappointment, Kelly was not practicing at the time and we made a lot of bad decisions in trying to find a Realtor. Ultimately the Realtor(and Realty Group) we went with wasted 6 months of our lives and provided nothing but false expectations and excuses. Voicemails went unanswered, email systems “were down”, the list goes on…
Luckily, Kelly had stepped back in to Real Estate in September, with William Raveis, and reached out to us to check in. We sat down, reviewed the market, reset our expectations for selling our house, and put together a plan to aggressively sell our home. 36 hours after listing our house we accepted an offer and had two backups ready to go. To say that this was a completely different experience from the previous 6 months would be an understatement. She didn’t tell us what we wanted to hear, she didn’t bring in her entire office in to talk up how fast our house would sell, but she did sell our house quickly and efficiently.
Lesson learned – don’t get sold on working with a realtor that does not have your best interest in mind. Everyone will want to list your house, very few will actually help set he right the expectations, and only a handful (like Kelly) will get it done.
