About Katie Ruhl

Experience

Katie Lyons Ruhl was born, raised and educated in Ann Arbor, Michigan. As a child Katie and her family frequently visited Southwest Florida and by 2009 it was the permanent home of much of her extended family. With the desire to make a change, Katie left Corporate America in the fall of 2013 to serve overseas in an orphanage located in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. After completing her service, Katie couldn't resist the draw of Naples and opportunity to transition into luxury Real Estate. Katie prides herself on providing extensive market knowledge and an understanding with those looking to make Naples a second home. Katie enjoys introducing new residents to Naples and working with out of state clients. Prior to making the move to Naples, Florida Katie served as the Director of Marketing & Sales, for a $750 million construction group comprised of seven autonomous business units and brands. Katie served as the primary liaison to the S&P 500 holding company, Quanta Services (NYSE: PWR) and worked with industry consultants to develop underground infrastructure solutions throughout the country. She has worked as a fundraiser at the University of Michigan's Schools of Kinesiology and Medicine while attending the School of Education's Philanthropy, Advancement and Development Master's Program. Katie is a two time graduate of the University of Michigan (GO BLUE!), avid football fan and competitive equestrian. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her growing family, international travel and serving various non-profit organizations both locally in Naples and globally.
