Katheryn Salazar brings a unique depth and breadth of home renovation and design experience to The Source Team. She has fifteen years as a design professional working with a broad range of clients from individual homeowners, small business owners to multi-million dollar projects with companies such as Vera Wang and Cadillac. Prior to joining The Source Team, she had her own business helping New York and Westchester clients re-imagine their homes and offices to better suit their lifestyle needs. Her success is a reflection of her commitment to fully understanding the hopes, dreams and constraints of each client, and providing inspired and workable solutions within their budgets. Katheryn's transition to The Source Team is a natural evolution of her design work - allowing her to help clients make good decisions in the selection and marketing of their home. Just before moving to Westchester with her family in 2016, Katheryn was the in-house designer for B&B Italia, a leading manufacturer of contemporary furniture. Katheryn was consistently the top sales person within the company and had a project featured on the cover of Architectural Digest. Katheryn has worked for several other firms in New York and internationally. Among other awards, one of her projects was deemed Interior Design Magazine's 2010 Best of Year Award in Urban Residential. Katheryn's design expertise and deep knowledge of client preferences, is a benefit to both buyers and sellers. She excels in assessing a home's strengths and enhancing it's appeal through staging, professional photography and publicity. Katheryn works with buyers to envision solutions to any problems of the otherwise 'perfect' home and offer guidance in how to go about the often daunting task of renovation. A longtime supporter of environmental causes, she loves having the natural beauty of Northern Westchester at her doorstep. As a young mom, she is active in various community groups designed around parenting. She and her husband, who is a music programmer and on-air host at SiriusXM, live in Croton-on-Hudson with their son and daughter.
