John Buckley prides himself on going above and beyond to provide his clients with excellent service. John is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the New York Association of Realtors and the local Hudson Valley Association of Realtors. He is a Licensed Real Estate Associate Broker with certifications as a Senior Real Estate Specialist and Buyer's Agent and he has a law degree. Prior to selling real estate, John served as the Director of Legal Affairs for a 1300-employee engineering firm where he negotiated contracts and oversaw risk management/insurance. John currently lives in Lake Katonah with his wife Linda and their rescue dog Chuck. John began his real estate career in Chappaqua where he was also active in community affairs. John was elected and served ten years as a Town Board member overseeing the operation of the Town of New Castle (Chappaqua and Millwood hamlets) while maintaining the Town's Triple-A bond rating. He volunteered, and served over 20 years in the Chappaqua Fire Department and continues to serve in the volunteer fire department on Fire Island, where he spends summers. For years he volunteered as a coach for elementary and middle school children and was active in the Chappaqua Rotary where he served two terms as President and received the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow. Given his contributions to the community, Westchester County has twice recognized John with a "John Buckley Day." With his moving into Katonah, John has expanded his services into Northern Westchester where he will bring his expertise and willingness to continue his belief in "Service Above Self."
