Joe Wren, Director of Business Development, New Development Services Joe brings a specialized set of expertise to Raveis clients and agents as he is both a licensed Realtor and Civil Engineer. With extensive experience in land design, development, valuation and compliance, Joe is a resource for Raveis agents and clients throughout the company’s 116 locations serving the Northeast and Florida. Joe has been a licensed Realtor since 2002 and will work collaboratively with agents and clients to provide expert advice and guidance in a variety of areas relating to residential and commercial real estate including: • Subdivisions • Multi-family housing • Retail and commercial development • Land redevelopment and repurposing • Environmentally sensitive projects • Marine structures such as docks, bridges and marinas Joe can assist clients in a variety of capacities such as: • Feasibility studies • Planning and zoning compliance and permits • Inlands and Tidal Wetlands Compliance • FEMA Flood compliance • Wastewater and Stormwater Management Joe earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1994 and has over 20 years of experience in land design, development, valuation and compliance. He established the boutique civil engineering firm Indigo Land Design in 2004 and has worked on over 750 projects of various size and scope in more than 60 towns throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts ranging from single family residences to multi-unit condominium projects to medical and specialty care buildings to rebuilding the iconic Dock-n-Dine restaurant on Saybrook Point. He is extremely knowledgeable with the municipal and state submittal and review process including extensive experience with all local, state and federal agencies, boards and commissions. Clients and agents will benefit tremendously from Joe’s extensive knowledge and can call on Joe for his expertise in land design, feasibility, and compliance issues whether their needs are residential, commercial or industrial. Joe resides in East Lyme Connecticut with his wife and is the father of four, which includes a set of triplets!
