Experience

Although I am new to the Real Estate field, I have a wealth of experience working with the public, and I am happy to be able to assist you with your real estate needs! While productively serving as a Program Manager/Coordinator with the National Guard and the Coast Guard, I provided mandatory training to thousands of members throughout New England and covered Northern Maine to Northern New Jersey. This achievement is a testament to my ability to engage and connect with a variety of people. I care about your needs and wants; I will work with you to meet your goals!

Achievements

My 40 plus years of human service and counseling experience includes working directly with clients as well as program management, training, monitoring, providing technical assistance at various levels of organizations. I worked on a team and was an author of a booklet dealing with the rehabilitation practices for individuals with psychiatric disabilities. I have worked with the public in educational, rehabilitation and medical environments, State & Federal government agencies, and military organizations (Coast Guard & U.S. Air Force National Guard). As a Program Manager while at the National Guard, I was nationally recognized for my expertise and achievements while serving members who had been sexually assaulted. I provided prevention training to military members and successfully managed the program while supporting Leadership. My professional versatility, ability to adapt to different settings, and my counseling background are positive attributes that allow me to work successfully with a number of clientele. I listen, understand, sympathize and empathize with home Buyers and Sellers. My management and people skills allow me to effectively help my customers.

Personal

My husband and I reside in the Robinwood neighborhood of Brewster, MA. We enjoy the company of our beautiful "Coconut Retrievers" from St Maarten. In May 2022, while on vacation on the island, we adopted two 12-week old puppies; Mango's DNA includes 21 breeds, and Coconut's DNA has 19 breeds. My greatest passion is travel! In addition to several US locations (including Alaska & Hawaii), my husband and I have traveled to innumerable European countries including England, Ireland, the Netherlands, the Canary Islands, and Gibraltar; and we hopped over to Morocco. We have enjoyed a safari in South Africa; and in the past, I was on safari in Kenya & Tanzania. Another one of my hobbies is SCUBA; along with Cape Cod, Florida & Hawaii, I have had the benefit of diving in many Caribbean nations: St Maarten, Saba, Bahamas, Jamaica, Turks & Caicos, Cayman Islands, Tobago, Barbados, Bonaire, and St Vincent & the Grenadines. Cycling is yet another hobby that my husband and I enjoy. We have cycled in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Denmark, Canada and the USA.

As a resident of Brewster, MA, I am the Secretary for my neighborhood's Homeowners' Association. In addition, I am a member of the Brewster Ponds Coalition and the Friends of the Brewster Seniors.

Education

After graduating from Milford High in Milford, MA, I went on to complete my Bachelor of Arts Degree from the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA. Following the four years at Holy Cross, I earned my graduate degree (Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling) from Boston University's Sargent College. As a Nationally-certified and State-licensed Rehabilitation Counselor, I had completed numerous training programs in mediation, program management, specialty counseling areas, etc. In 2007, I obtained my License as Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Massachusetts.
