Irena Grant, real estate salesperson with Town & Country Real Estate’s Bridgehampton Office, has a thoroughly international view of Hamptons real estate. Born in Prague, Czech Republic and growing up in Prague and London, England, Irena has called the Hamptons home for nearly 20 years. Upon graduating from Prague University, Irena honed her business acumen in the incentive business and later in film production in Prague and London. While working in the film industry Irena learned the importance of “finding perfect shooting locations and stage them for the specific director's needs.” Successful real estate investments in Europe where she visits frequently and continues to buy, sell, and rent property have opened the door for Irena’s successful real estate career here in the Hamptons. “I’ve always been interested in helping people with staging and selling,” says Irena who closed two landmark deals with waterfront properties in East Hampton’s exclusive Three Mile Harbor area. “The keys to working with clients to find the house of their dreams are good interpersonal skills and the ability to really listen to what a client wants.” Irena lives with her husband and their children in East Hampton and volunteers at ARF Hamptons and Amaryllis Farm Equine Rescue. She also pursues her hobby of marionette theater and puppet making, a strong European tradition and part of her cultural heritage. When not working on her next deal in real estate Irena says she loves to “travel and discover new cultures and traditions in music and the arts around the world.”
