As a fourth-generation resident of the Hamptons, Bethany Selmear Smith has a deep connection to the area’s rich history, culture, and community. Growing up just two doors down from the historic Whaling Museum in Sag Harbor, and with a grandfather who served as the town doctor, Bethany’s roots run deep. Her passion for preserving the charm and historical significance of the Hamptons’ Main Streets continues to fuel her success in real estate. Bethany holds a degree from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s in School Counseling from C.W. Post. She refined her exceptional customer service skills through years of experience in retail, while her background as a Division I athlete shaped her disciplined, driven, and solutions-oriented approach. Her experience working with the East Hampton Rental Registry further strengthened her ability to connect clients with properties that truly meet their needs. With a keen awareness of how the Hamptons continues to evolve, Bethany understands the challenges and opportunities that come with new development and changing lifestyles. She is deeply committed to listening carefully to her clients and guiding them toward the right properties—whether they are seeking a historic home, a modern residence, or a long-term investment. Beyond real estate, Bethany remains actively involved in her community, coaching the varsity field hockey team at her alma mater, Pierson High School, and mentoring student-athletes.
