Personal

I love Western Mass! For several years, I've been serving public town offices & community building. With the Amherst Public Shade Tree Committee, I've planted hundreds of trees for our future generations to enjoy. As the Chair of the Amherst Public Art Commission, I had a hand in projects such as Electrify Amherst, the Town Hall Gallery & grant resourcing through the Amherst Cultural Council. During my time with Amherst Arts Night Plus, I worked on Windows into Art & securing music performances for gallery openings. For over a decade I volunteered as a Girl Scout leader & was recognized with the Volunteer of Excellence Award & the Honor Pin. It was an honor to have a hand in crafting the young leading women of the future. You may also see me serving as a warden at the polls on election day, on stage with the Pioneer Valley Ballet's annual production of The Nutcracker, volunteering with the Amherst Senior Center or as a substitute teacher. I hold an associates degree in visual communication & space design from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) San Francisco, as well as a bachelor's degree in business studies from the UMass Amherst's University Without Walls program in the Isenberg School of Management.
