About Mellyssa Coutinho
Experience
I really enjoy what I do; helping people who are passionate about real estate and community development. No two situations are identical, so I strive to listen to our clients’ needs, then work together with the whole team to make our clients’ goals a reality. Communication, responsiveness and attention to each transaction are paramount to our success in this business. Whether you are a first-time homebuyer, buying your second home or interested in purchasing investment property to generate rental income, we can work together to start building your equity and increasing wealth during any real estate market.
As a lifelong Massachusetts resident, I grew up in several Metro Boston/South Shore areas including Watertown, Hyde Park, Milton, Randolph and Taunton. My early education was in Milton schools, including a private school and a couple years at Milton High School. I volunteered at the Franklin Park Zoo as a teenager, also in a couple animal shelters, played tennis on the high school tennis team and worked downtown in local businesses after school in East Milton and Hyde Park.
My career initially gravitated toward real estate in 1999 when I became title abstractor at local Registries Of Deeds. Shortly after, I became a Realtor and gained further experience in the Real Estate business. After the market shifted, I took an opportunity with a local luxury car dealership in Business Development/Internet Management. I received numerous company awards as Top Salesperson and Finance Manager. Then reunited with the real estate industry through mortgage lending in 2017, and am approaching 6 years in mortgage lending, but 17 years in the real estate industry overall.
These days I am active with the International Kiwanis Club, The Boys & Girls Club of Metro South and Hope Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star just to name a few. When I’m not working, you’ll find me boating, kayaking, hiking, playing volleyball, and taking random NH and ME weekend trips with my husband and our two young active sons to explore New England.
