In 1974, Bill Raveis borrowed $2000 from a bank and launched William Raveis Real Estate in an office above a grocery store. Within 10 years, he established a mortgage company, an insurance agency and an award-winning relocation business. Today, William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance is the No. 1 family-owned real estate company in the Northeast and the No. 8 real estate company in the country, according to REAL Trends. Bill Raveis has earned national honors and respect because of his foresight, technological advancements and innovative accomplishments. He was chosen Entrepreneur of the Year from Ernst & Young, was selected as one of The Most Admired Individuals by REAL Trends and has been the recipient of numerous leadership honors and community awards. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.

As Co-President of William Raveis Inc., Ryan is responsible for the company’s headquarter functions including marketing, finance, accounting, human resources, IT, ecommerce, relocation, and career development. Ryan also serves as the President of William Raveis Mortgage and has been recognized by Mortgage Executive Magazine as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Mortgage Executives in America, and the company has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Places to Work in America. Prior to rejoining the family business, Ryan held positions with a top strategic management consulting and research services firm, as well as a venture-capital backed internet services firm, where he led the implementation of the nation's first broker-direct online mortgage platform. Ryan received a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College and a Masters of Business Administration (magna cum laude) in Finance & Entrepreneurship from Babson College.

Chris is responsible for the company's residential sales business in the northeast. In 2003, he spearheaded the company's expansion outside of its home state of Connecticut, growing the business in seven states to $3.5 billion in annual closed sales. During that time, William Raveis was twice named Best Real Estate Company by Banker & Tradesman and the Best Place to Work by the Boston Business Journal. William Raveis is now the largest family-owned real estate company in the Northeast with over 4,000 agents and $10 billion in closed sales. Prior to his position in the family business, Chris headed the national sales team for Home-Link Services, Inc., a venture capital backed internet and service based company. Chris also worked with Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was named as one of the top five commercial brokers in the Metro-Atlanta area by the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. Chris is a graduate of Hobart and William Smith College.

Ray has served as a legal counsel for William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance since 2000. In 2003, he became General Counsel for William Raveis Real Estate, as well as Senior Vice President of Settlement Services where he oversees William Raveis Insurance, The Kelsey Company and the William Raveis Attorney Network. Prior to joining William Raveis Real Estate, Ray practiced law in Washington D.C. with the firm of Webster, Chamberlain & Bean. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University and a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from Tulane University Law School. Ray is a licensed attorney in Connecticut, New York, District of Columbia, and Maryland.

Dan has served as the Chief Financial Officer of William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance since 2015. In this capacity, Dan oversees Accounting, Facilities, and Human Resources. Prior to joining Raveis, Dan was the Chief Financial Officer for the Clarion Partners Lion Properties Fund, a commercial real estate fund with over $8 billion of real estate investments throughout the U.S. Dan previously worked at Realty Finance Corporation, General Electric Capital Corporation and Deloitte & Touche LLP in various finance, accounting and risk roles. Dan received a Master in Business Administration in Finance from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Connecticut.
