A seasoned real estate professional with over two decades of experience in residential resales, new construction, luxury homes, and mortgage. Andrea Cohen provides a comprehensive and concierge-style service infused with a passion for all things Sarasota. Fluent in Spanish and the language of luxury new construction, she brings a wealth of knowledge from working with renowned developers and architects both abroad and locally. She imparts these rich insights to her sellers and buyers throughout the course of their real estate journey. Born in New York and raised in Miami, Andrea's tenacity and vibrant personality are reflective of these two fast-paced, cultural Mecca's. After visiting a friend on the west coast of Florida,her affinity for Sarasota's relaxed lifestyle and culture drew her to stay. Andrea's extensive background across the many facets of real estate positions her customers for success. She not only owned a successful mortgage company after receiving her broker license but was a highly decorated real estate agent in Miami - named one of Ocean Drive Magazine's "Top 30 Real Estate Agents in Miami". She was also recognized with her team in the magazine, Power Women Issue, for their over $2 billion in luxury real estate sales. Andrea shifted her focus For eight years and worked in the medical field, bleending her passions to oversee the opening and operations of several medical clinics. Since returning to her real estate career in 2019, she has been named a top sales associate five years in a row and has been integral in the successful launch and sales of premier new construction projects, including Sandhill Lake in east Sarasota County. Andrea enjoys Sarasota's walkable downtown lifestyle and takes full advantage of the fitness, shopping, and dining that surrounds her. When she's not assisting customers, you'll likely find her engaged in some form of physical activity. Whether it's in a Pilates class, boating, biking, skating, snowboarding, or traveling. She also enjoys donating her free time to the All Faiths Food Bank & the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee as a volunteer.
