About Chris Chris has called Nantucket home for more than thirty years. She arrived in 1992, drawn by the island?s history and maritime character, and stayed ? building a life deeply rooted in the rhythms of year-round island living. Over three decades, she has watched neighborhoods evolve, families grow, markets rise and reset, and properties pass from one generation to the next. Raised in Vermont on her grandparents? farm ? once an 18th-century stagecoach inn ? Chris developed an early respect for craftsmanship, land, and the stories homes carry. On Nantucket, where preservation and legacy matter, that perspective shapes the way she represents her clients. Chris began her real estate career in 2003 and became a licensed Sales Associate in 2006. Since then, she has guided buyers, sellers, and renters through the nuances that only long-term island experience can teach: off-market opportunities, conservation considerations, rental dynamics, contractor relationships, seasonal logistics, and the unspoken character of each area ? from in-town cobblestones to the quieter edges of the island. Her business is built on trust and long relationships. Clients describe her as patient, steady, and fiercely dedicated. When a rental guest?s washing machine failed mid-season, Chris personally handled the disruption to ensure the family?s stay remained seamless. When entrusted with the sale of a beloved family home of thirty years, she advised patience rather than accepting early developer offers ? ultimately securing an above-asking sale to a buyer who valued the home?s character and intended to preserve it. For buyers, especially those living off-island, Chris becomes their eyes and ears ? previewing properties, arranging virtual showings at a moment?s notice, and leveraging strong local connections to access pre-listing opportunities. For clients pursuing construction or renovation projects, she makes thoughtful introductions to architects, builders, designers, lenders, and attorneys, helping assemble the right team from the start. Before real estate, Chris worked as a private chef and property manager in Palm Beach, Wainscott, and on Nantucket ? experience that instilled discretion, organization, and a service standard aligned with high-value properties. She also holds an active real estate license with Logan Realty in West Palm Beach, Florida, assisting clients who divide their time between coastal communities. Chris lives on Nantucket year-round with her husband, Tim, and their rescued cat, Schmoo. Outside of work, she can be found walking conservation trails, gardening, practicing floral design, and photographing the island?s ever-changing light.
