Bio

Paul Delaney has over 40 years of extensive experience in the financial services industry, including investment management, investment banking, private equity fundraising and marketing. Most recently he was Senior Managing Director and Head of Private Equity at Griffin Financial Group, a boutique investment bank and part of the Stevens & Lee group of companies. Prior to joining Griffin in 2008, Paul was founder and CEO of Patronus Capital Advisors, a boutique private equity advisory firm; a Partner at Pomona Capital, a global, value-oriented private equity firm; and Managing Director and co-founder of the Bear Stearns Private Funds Group. Prior to Bear Stearns, Paul had a 20-year career at MetLife Inc. where he served as Director of Private Equity; Deputy Chief Investment Officer for MetLife International; and also had positions of significant responsibility within MetLife’s Corporate Treasury and Institutional Insurance divisions. He has a B.A. from St. Michael’s College; an MBA from Adelphi University; and a JD from New York Law School.
