"As a first time home buyer during the second half of 2021, I realized that what people don't tell you when you're a type A person, is that it's just as important to find the right agent as it is to find the right property. After a couple of false starts with some unpolished, less experienced agents, once I met Lisa, I understood what the difference was between a real estate agent who somehow acquired a license and a successful, fantastic real estate agent who earned referrals and trust. I'm a very particular type A person, live in NYC, time-poor, who was going through a health crisis -- but still maintained a very high standard and required (some might argue too much) of an aesthetic requirement - and somehow... with Lisa by my side, I got through it all without fully being able to relate to the challenges you hear about 'when buying a house' for the first time.

We were so incredibly lucky to work with Lisa Mancini in finding a home in the Fairfield Beach area.

We initially met Lisa at an open house, looking at homes in Fairfield all the way to Branford. Lisa offered to show us around the various towns and clearly knows each town, its characteristics, and the gets to know her clients so well that she knew what we were looking for. She was very innovative in how she gave us driving tours of various areas - having us follow her car while talking to us via speaker phone as we drove by different neighborhood, town centers, and various landmarks in an area.

When it came to identifying homes, she sent us a range of homes and kept an eye out for ones in the areas we were interested in. She knew all the other selling brokers and when it came to making a bid (during a very competitive market as there were several, several on the home we wanted), she wisely guided us with the optimal offer and other added steps that we would need to do to ensure we negotiated and won our offer.

Once we had our offer accepted, she hand held us through the process, working late through the evenings, often doing calls with us after even 9p since we were not available during the day to discuss the inspection and then closing process.

Through every step, and even after, once we closed on the home, Lisa has been our muse, our advocate, and our guiding light. We recommend her with the highest accolades and cannot imagine another broker more knowledgeable, dedicated, supportive, responsive, and caring than Lisa Mancini. Lisa was a tremendous asset to me during the sales process for my Fairfield CT home. When we signed the contract, Lisa told me "I'm going to sell your house this week" ...and she did so, in 5 days! Lisa really *listened* to me, and became my partner in the sales process. That meant a lot to me, as I interviewed several local realtors who did not. Moreover, it resulted in my getting 7% more on my sale than other realtors had pressured me to settle for (and more than those same realtors got for other nearby similar property sales). We had a frank and fruitful conversation about "comps" when deciding on the asking price, which gave me a result I was very happy with. As an example of her "listening" to me, I was clear that selling "quickly" was not my #1 priority. Getting my asking price from someone with terms that were acceptable to me WAS my priority. She did both in less than a week. You can't ask for more than that!
