Having been island renters first for many years, and homeowners thereafter, David and Robin know the expectations of those looking rent, or to purchase in this unique market.
Personal
David and Robin fell in love with the island over 15 years ago when they first visited for an overnight stay, and from that moment on dreamed of living 30 miles out-to-sea. After spending countless vacations on Nantucket, it was just a matter of time before their dream of becoming full-time residents became a reality. In September 2016, they were thrilled to have gotten married at the iconic White Elephant Hotel. Before David and Robin joined William Raveis as sales agents in 2021, Robin worked as the Marketing Director for a small island real estate agency. With the outbreak of COVID there was an increased demand for virtual online experiences, and David & Robin formed Slick Productions, offering the highest quality Matterport 3D imagery. DAVID'S BACKGROUND | Born and raised in the beautiful countryside of North Adams, MA, David is a licensed construction supervisor and property manager, with a background in finance. Prior to moving to Nantucket, David was the Facilities Director at the Norman Rockwell Museum where he oversaw all facilities operations, maintenance management, and capital improvements. ROBIN'S BACKGROUND | Robin grew up in Manhattan and practiced law in the city until her mid-30s when she moved, with her then husband, to the Berkshires to raise their two kids, Harrison, a senior at Northeastern, and Samantha, a junior at the Rhode Island School of Design. While in the Berkshires and living next door to the world renowned Kripalu Yoga Center, she became a 500 E-RYT certified yoga instructor where she led mind/body workshops, taught classes to children, corporate employees, and to private and small groups. Currently, she teaches yoga at the Nantucket Hotel, and in private settings. In the Berkshires, David and Robin were involved with several not-for-profit organizations, including Berkshire Country Day School where Robin's children attended, religious organizations, and a prominent local art school. In their free time they enjoy walking their two year old Mini Aussie "Lenny" along the beaches, and many trails maintained by the Conservation Foundation and Land Bank. David can also be found fishing, both from shore and from his kayak. Robin takes great joy in photographing the island's natural beauty - its beaches, lighthouses, sunrises, sunsets, and so much more. They also love their colleagues, and being part of the William Raveis team!
