Shane Bonanno is a seasoned Realtor with nearly three decades of experience along the Connecticut shoreline. Raised in Westbrook and now based on Main Street in Old Saybrook, Shane has spent most of his life in the communities he serves and brings deep local knowledge to every transaction. Shane firmly believes in providing every client with truly professional advice and service?something he feels only a small percentage of Realtors consistently deliver. Buying or selling a home is a complex process that demands experience to achieve the best results, and his goal is to make that process as stress-free as possible from start to finish. Known for his honesty, integrity, and calm guidance, he represents both buyers and sellers across a wide stretch of the shoreline. After a standout athletic career at Westbrook High School in soccer, basketball, and golf, Shane attended Elon University in North Carolina, where he thrived both academically and socially. His ability to connect with many different people there has carried directly into his real estate career. He began his professional path in Charlotte, NC, working as a Mortgage Consultant for two years before returning to Connecticut in 1999 to join his father, Peter Bonanno, in real estate. Together, they built a respected family business known for strong results and long-term client relationships. An experienced Realtor with a demonstrated history in the industry, Shane is skilled in new home sales, short sales, foreclosures, single-family homes, and condominiums, with strong capabilities in marketing, real estate transactions, banking, and contract negotiation. Now, as part of Linda?s Team at William Raveis Real Estate, Shane combines his extensive experience with the team?s dedicated support and resources, allowing him to focus even more on what matters most: guiding his clients and protecting their best interests. Shane lives in Old Saybrook and believes this is a wonderful area to raise a family, with its great shops, restaurants, and close-knit community. His daughter, Sophia, is his pride and joy. He treasures the time they spend playing tennis together and also enjoys golfing as a member of Fenwick Golf Club.
