Hello from Chatham! Spring is coyly appearing here on Cape Cod, with bursts of purple heather, cheerful daffodils in bloom, and the first tentative blossoms of forsythia. The longer, sunnier days leave shimmers on the sea and birds are chirping. The real estate market is still very strong here. If you're thinking of selling, this is a great time. If you're buying, you need specific strategies. Call me - I would be delighted to help.

Experience

I help my clients bring their real estate ideas to life. My focus is on offering value. I do this by being an advisor and guide who knows the right questions to ask, gives clear options, structures deals for success, offers a network of resources, and helps anticipate and avert roadblocks. Of course, doing this with optimism and friendliness is a must. Being in real estate has been a great continuation of my business background. I co-founded a successful e-commerce company over 15 years ago, building on my experience in both corporate and start-up marketing. I had always loved real estate and, after investing in and renovating both residential and commercial properties, I enjoyed it so much that I decided to become an agent. My experience as an entrepreneur means that I can handle fast-paced, multi-faceted transactions, go the extra mile to make things happen, and come up with creative solutions to solve problems. I understand how important it is to respond quickly, provide great communication, and think outside the box, being that trusted guide who will go to bat for you. Buying or selling property is a big deal, involving serious assets and myriad decisions, and each transaction is different. I enjoy the challenge of putting the pieces together, helping clients be successful while also protecting their interests. Cape Cod The waterside living, historic towns, and conservation efforts that make the Cape so alluring are accompanied by a labyrinth of regulations that you need to know when buying or selling a home here. Flood zones, building restrictions, changes in rental regulations, and septic requirements are just a few things to consider. As your agent, this is part of the service I provide and I enjoy the research required to learn about a property. My background and passion for real estate have made this one of my core strengths and I have cultivated a network of experts I can consult.

Professional Association

I am very happy to be part of William Raveis Real Estate. Family-owned and operated, there actually is a real William Raveis (pronounced RAVE-iss). He started the company in the early 1970s and still runs it today, along with his two sons. With $16 billion in sales in 2020 and a huge footprint in the Northeast and Florida, William Raveis has over 145 offices and 4,200 agents, offering an outstanding network for buyers and sellers. I have an incredible team behind me - a seasoned manager with a successful real-estate background, an outstanding office administrator, agents with a wealth of experience, and local, in-house mortgage and insurance brokers to provide seamless service. Our headquarters offers a full marketing department, a 24/7 call center for customer inquiries, a technology support team, and a training team that makes agent knowledge and excellence a priority. I have all of these resources at my fingertips to ensure that I have a deep well of information and expertise for anything that arises. William Raveis is known for investing in cutting-edge technology that makes a dramatic difference in our efficiency and effectiveness. (In fact, I am such a fan of this modern approach to technology that I am a Raveis Technology Specialist, training my fellow agents.)

Personal

I love the natural beauty, charming towns, outdoorsy lifestyle, and artistic culture of Cape Cod. Growing up in Cincinnati, I had great memories of visiting in the summers, and when my parents retired in Chatham over 30 years ago, it became a new home base. Even though I lived in Boston, then Boulder, I always had one foot on the Cape, with a house in Orleans, staying longer and longer with each visit. I am delighted to live here full-time now with my husband and princely mutt, Dabu. You'll find me riding bikes on the rail trail, taking requisite beach walks, watching bayside sunsets, kayaking, having coffee at the Snowy Owl or Jo Mamas, relaxing on the terrace at Chatham Bars Inn, hearing live music, and seeing indie movies at the Orpheum or Cape Cinema. So much to do around here! In addition to thriving on real estate and business, I always have a pile of books and magazines I'm reading, and relish interior design, yoga, plant-based cooking, and volunteering for animals. Fun fact: Chatham and I share the same birthday (Gemini) - thankfully not the same year.
