Home is where the heart is. Born and raised in Maine, Melissa has had the pleasure of growing up on Maine's coast. From a young age Melissa formed a special appreciation for all this state has to offer. Some of her most treasured memories from childhood include exploring local trails through the woods with her siblings and enjoying long days at the beach as a family. She continues to enjoy the great outdoors with activities such as hiking and skiing. In a beautiful state like Maine, it's easy to understand why Melissa is proud to call this home. Melissa has always been driven and dedicated to reaching her goals. Being a people person it felt natural for Melissa to pursue a career in cosmetology. Fresh out of high school she attended Capilo Institute where she worked diligently to obtain her cosmetology license. After working in the field for eight years Melissa proudly opened her own salon. It is through this work that Melissa has learned respect, loyalty and a special ability to listen. While being a businesswoman is an important part of who Melissa is, her most treasured part of her life, is her daughter. Reading books and silly dance parties are just a few of the activities Melissa does on a regular basis with her daughter. Being a mom has taught Melissa patience and understanding. Melissa has always been intrigued by the real estate world. Now, with years of business experience behind her, she has joined forces with William Raveis as we build our collective business in the state of Maine. Melissa brings with her a vast network of past customers and clients, a refined business acumen, and a deep knowledge of the midcoast region.
