"My husband and I recently sold our home in Connecticut and Margo was our agent. We had such an exceptional experience with her, we wanted her supervisor and, hopefully, the President of Raveis, to know how much we valued Margo.
Any time one sells a home, it is stressful, but we were also retiring from our corporate jobs, buying a business in Michigan and moving all at the same time. Margo gave us sound advice on staging our home, a realistic price for our house (which did end up in a bidding war) and handled issues as they came upon us. Margo was always professional, upbeat and thorough. In fact, during the banks' appraisal, there was concern over a room being permitted. Margo went into action and had the town's building inspector etc. on the phone even before we could. This situation occurred as my husband was in Asia for his last business trip and I was already in Michigan running our new business. Finally, it all hinged on the type of overhead lighting that was installed in that room. Margo went to our home, took a light apart and photographed it for an electrician she had located for us, and the building inspector that was on a trip to California! The lights turned out to be correct and Margo not only saved us the cost of an electrician, this also cleared the way for the bank to give the loan to the buyers and we were able to close on time. This was so important as we needed the funds received from the sale to buy our new home in Michigan two days later.
Margo is an exceptional professional and went far beyond what any relator has ever been close to doing for us. We would highly recommend Margo to anyone.
