Community Involvement

Marcia is very civic minded and has served on numerous boards for local organizations and charities. She was School Board Chairman in Barre City for over a decade. Other organizations include the Vermont Granite Museum, March of Dimes, Barre Opera House, Project Graduation and Barre Youth Sports. Governor Douglas appointed her to the Public Oversight Commission which regulates Health Care in Vermont.

Personal

Marcia is the proud mother of Samuel and Victoria, her two children. She lives in Barre with her husband and business partner John. She enjoys long walks with the family's Labrador Retriever Lily and gardening in her spare time.
