Agent Credentials

Professional Association

Over the past 20 years of living in Naples, I have been associated with many non-profits and other organziations. My most current affiliation is as a member of Greater Naples Leadership, Class XXIV. GNL will be celebrating 25 years of leadership programs in Collier County. I am proud to be a part of this very well regarded community organization whose goals are to educate and introduce its members to volunteering opportunities across the spectrum of social needs in our county.

Education

As I was born overseas, in Wales, UK, my educational achievements are different than here in my new adopted country. Suffice it to say, I was educated at private schools in England, Switzerland and Southern France. I attended a secretarial college in London and beside the normal office skills, we were introduced to British company law - and flower arranging!! After graduating, I lived in Spain and worked for a Sherry producer. Having office skills in both French and Spanish has helped me throughout my life. Education continues - even without brick and mortar schools and I have found during my many travels abroad that I have extended my views and knowledge of many places around the world.

Community Involvement

Always having been interested in literacy and education of at risk children, I found my perfect spot volunteering at Fun Time Early Childhood Academy. For several years I read to eager, sweet children, one-on-one; we became such friends and to see the world through their fascinated eyes was a gift! Added to that was the knowledge that this amazing Academy gives these at-risk children a real chance at a successful school career. I had the honor of serving on the Board of Directors for 6 years; after helping to run the annual fundraiser as Auction Chair and on 3 occasions as Event Chair, my tenure is up! To fill the gap partially, I am now volunteering once or twice a month at St. Matthew's House along with my GNL class mates; we have a competition each time to see if we can fill more boxes of food than the last time. While not thus engaged, I serve on my Condo Association's board of directors as secretary. The rewards are that one learns a lot about condo law and really gets to know one's lovely neighbors! As a footnote, in the past, I served for 4 years on the Pelican Bay Tennis Advisory Group and helped review the standards of etiquette on the courts! The fun part was writing the bi-monthly tennis news in the Pelican Bay Post.

Bilingual Talents

Welcome! Bienvenu! Bienvenido! Parlez-vous Francais? Mais oui! Bien sur! ?Habla Usted Espanol? !Claro que si! And of course, I speak English - sometimes British English, but I'm generally understood! School in Switzerland and France taught me to speak French fluently... Living in Andalucia, Southern Spain taught me to speak the lazy accent of the South... not Castellano spoken in the north - way more understandable for our neighbors in Central and South America. I am delighted to spend time with people from other lands - as well, of course, with our local folk from Florida and anywhere else in the United States.

Personal

To live in Naples is to live the dream. The Paradise Coast really offers the perfect lifestyle. I've been lucky enough have spent the last 21 years here in Naples, and I've never regretted a moment! It provides everything I need to live a healthy, social and exciting lifestyle. I am an avid tennis player, not exactly at grand slam level, but very enjoyable, none the less! I attend events at Artis-Naples center enjoying the philharmonic orchestra, nationally acclaimed classical music concerts, pops, lectures and of course, the it's fabulous Baker Art Museum. Of course, I enjoy dining out and local restaurants and love to support our many unique local shopping outlets. Naples has it all -- and I enjoy it all. And for relaxation I walk my friendly Aussie Labradoodle, Radar - he knows more dogs than I do people! And everyone loves him! And when Covid-19 allows us all to return to "normal" I shall resume my travels - I have a long bucket list! Still 2 continents to discover (Australia and Antarctica), but I've conquered a great many countries in the other 4 big ones!

Experience

Before moving to Naples, I lived in the Land of Enchantment - New Mexico. I worked for the American Cancer Society and sold real estate in the Albuquerque area. Then I moved to Naples, and found another beautiful area to enjoy! ... How could I not share my love of Naples with new clients and friends? In 2003 I moved my license to Florida. For 5 years I enjoyed working here and was lucky to have a very successful real estate career until I retired when family responsibilities led me to retire. I love selling real estate and helping people find their own personal piece of paradise. So, in early 2021 I resumed my real estate career. I am fortunate to have been accepted by William Raveis Real Estate as a sales person and to be part of the wonderful Raveis family, treating clients with respect, acuity and a full service real estate brokerage. There is no rival to the service we provide our customers.
