"Liz greeted us warmly and made us feel at ease while listening carefully to our wants and needs for our new home. We were embarking on a major quest for our dream home together and Liz may not have realized at the time that she was dealing with a couple of picky individuals with sometime differing opinions of what we wanted but a clear and definite knowledge of what we didn't want. My construction background meant that I looked at every property as a diligent house inspector would and my wife looked at the practical and aesthetic features so that we went through every option with a fine tooth comb. Over the next couple of months we must have looked at forty properties or more and each time Liz was patient with our criticisms and kept faith in us after we rejected yet another candidate with one or more deal-breaking flaws. She would send us new listings diligently every week and we would whittle them down to a couple of prospects and visit them on a Saturday or Sunday because we worked five days a week. Through this time we had a couple of near misses with offers being made and some close calls but the most amazing thing was when we had almost given up finding a home in a good location for the right price and Liz found us a property that at first glance didn't seem to fit our criteria. The fact that it was priced 50% more than we had budgeted originally was a major deterrent yet Liz helped us see that we could afford the cost and we made an opening offer. Through the bargaining phase Liz was transparent and gave very sage advice and even though the seller was very difficult she dealt with every hurdle capably and gave us good advice with the result that a deal was ultimately made. That didn't end Liz's involvement because the contract and mortgage process were trying but she stood with us all the way and even helped us with settling in after the closing. If anyone ever asks us for a recommendation for a real estate agent the first person we would think of would be Liz. She has made a strong impression on us as a person of wisdom, integrity, patience and of having an in-depth knowledge of her trade and it is our privilege and pleasure to know her professionally plus we also consider her a friend."
