"We had the pleasure of purchasing a home through Leslie. New to the housing market (we were both first-time home-buyers), we were apprehensive about the process and were cautious about making a bad investment. Leslie came highly recommended to us by two sets of cousins, both of whom had used her for their homes.

We approached our first meeting with much confusion and were greeted with nothing but patience, transparency, and accommodation. After outlining the specifications that we desired, Leslie was quick to produce a number of listings and was willing to meet with us early on the weekends and after work (we both work in New York City and were commuting to Stamford for the viewings). She was tolerant of our mind-changes; what we thought we wanted was nowhere near what we ended up buying. Leslie was thoughtful about the feedback that she would give and was honest during the process. At no point did we get the feeling that anything but our own best-interests were being prioritized.

In conjunction with the home finding process, Leslie was also extremely helpful in providing guidance on affordability, financing, and the state of the real estate market. She was knowledgeable about neighborhood price points and resale values and calculated when considering estimated offers and the amount of work that should be done to a house when considering future resale value. A resident of Stamford herself, she was well-versed with the many areas and neighborhood assessments.

We were lucky enough to find a home that we both really loved and Leslie was terrific throughout the offer and closing process. We were not the only couple interested and Leslie did a tremendous job of navigating the competing offers and still finding the right value. Upon acceptance of our offer, Leslie was very supportive, putting us in touch with her extensive network (closing attorney, home inspector, etc.) and even provided ideas about how to remodel the aspects that we wanted to change.

We still keep in touch with Leslie, having asked questions about the existing housing market and resale value with our remodel. We would highly recommend Leslie: she is fair, knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. She removed the stress from our experience and even made it enjoyable for us, and we plan to use her again if and when we find ourselves selling or buying in the future."

"As first time homebuyers, my wife and I entered the process very guarded because we knew if we weren't careful, we could easily get in over our heads. Our first go-round was with an agent referred to us through my father. Although at first she seemed 'nice', at the end of our first showing, we were bombarded with paperwork, what seemed like contracts and over-the-top real estate jargon that only served to make us leery and confused. Not feeling comfortable, we continued our search and encountered 5 other agents between Westchester and Stamford. After numerous showings, we were growing really un-fond of real estate agents. She proved to be creative, resilient with a calming demeanor that helped us get through one of the most nerve wracking experiences of our lives. That being said, our family now lives on one of the nicest blocks in Stamford in a house we can actually afford and generous neighbors who go above and beyond to make us feel welcome. After 4 months in our new house and a dramatic upgrade in quality of life, we would wholeheartedly recommend Leslie to anyone in this area looking to buy. I don't believe there is an agent out there who can equal her level of compassion and customer service especially if you are a first time home-buyer. Thanks again Leslie!!
