Mr. Pickett has been active in Florida real estate since 2007, advising companies on distressed real estate and complex asset strategies during the financial crisis. This experience established a rigorous foundation in valuation, risk management, and sophisticated deal structuring that continues to guide his work with discerning buyers and sellers. Prior to relocating to Florida, Mr. Pickett served as a Senior Managing Director at LaBranche & Company (NYSE: LAB), a Wall Street investment firm, where he advised institutional clients and operated within highly competitive capital markets. In September 2010, he founded the boutique brokerage Barrett Welles in Palm Beach, serving as President and Managing Broker, where he focused on advising clients in the acquisition and disposition of premier residential assets. Mr. Pickett now represents clients with William Raveis Real Estate in Palm Beach, an ultra-luxury real estate brand, providing discreet advisory services and representation for high-net-worth individuals and sophisticated buyers and sellers. A graduate of Phillips Academy Andover and Harvard University, Mr. Pickett is known for his strategic perspective, financial discipline, and trusted counsel in significant real estate decisions.
