In my past real estate purchases, I've had very poor experiences with the agents on both sides of the transactions but our recent purchase experience really showed me the full extent of value of having a good agent. This was the first time I'd used Zillow to initiate the buy process, and it connected me to Joann. She was so straightforward and direct about her advertising relationship with Zillow and her guidance on the property that I felt instantly comfortable signing her as our buyer's agent. Although we didn't get that property, we let Joann know that we were very interested in the next unit that became available at the building. Over a year later, Joann called up saying "another unit at the building just listed 15 minutes ago!" and in 2 days we had an accepted offer. Throughout the process we could not have asked for a better guide and negotiating advisor. Her guidance was always thoughtful, direct, easy to understand, and based on solid experience. She was a trusted advisor during some of the more challenging parts of the deal. Better than being amazingly responsive, which she was, she was also very proactive. She was always looking a few steps down the road and making sure we were fully aware of and prepared for the next steps. I will go to Joann on ANY future real estate transaction and would give my highest recommendation to others to do the same.

We needed to speak to a realtor quickly.
I met Joann and made it clear I wasn't ready to sell; and I didn't want to be contacted and explained that we were going through a very difficult time.
I was ready to hear a "sales pitch" and a scripted compassion speech.
I was wrong.
Joann listened, and answered all my questions. She never contacted me as I requested. She waited for me to contact her...unsure if we would. I asked her not to forward my information to anyone and she absolutely honored that.
I walked away from that first meeting 100% sure that if/when we moved forward I would only work with her. I had no doubt she would do her very best for us; and she did.
We had MANY unusual requests and she handled every one. She continued to show compassion and patience with us. She took on more things so that we could focus more on our situation.
Her flexibility to meet with us at dinner time, sometimes later, cutting plans short to meet us confirmed that she was focused and committed to helping us.
She set us up to sell and sell FAST.
Our house sold the first day to the second showing at full asking price.
She did due diligence. If she didn't have an answer she got it. She was very upfront with us about everything.
Although her job was done Joann continued to guide us and even worked with the buyer's realtor because of the unusual circumstances. Always being professional and respectful of our needs.
Even now if I have a question or need information I will reach out to her; and she is always willing to answer my questions.
We really lucked out when she answered my call that day.
