Jaime Serapilia Dasilva
Realtor-Veteran-Dedicated Community Member

With over a decade in Real Estate, I offer strong market expertise, strategic negotiation skills, and a genuine commitment to guiding clients through life's big transitions. Born in Bristol, CT, and raised with summers in Old Lyme, I ultimately chose to make Old Lyme my year-round home drawn to the shoreline, the welcoming community, and the coastal lifestyle while keeping deep roots in Hartford County.

Real estate is part of my DNA. With a broker for a mother and an agent for a sister, I've been surrounded by the industry my entire life. Before entering real estate, I proudly served in the United States Navy, including time in Yokosuka, Japan with Submarine Group Seven during 9/11 and with VAQ-128 at Whidbey Island, Washington, working with EA-6B Prowlers. My service included several challenging and meaningful deployments and earned recognitions such as:

Sailor of the Quarter

Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal

Good Conduct Medal

National Defense Service Medal

Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal

Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal

Joint Meritorious Unit Award

Flag Letter of Commendation (2)

After returning home, I transitioned to Navy Reserve status and continued serving as a government employee in the Housing Department at the U.S. Navy Submarine Base in Groton, CT, working as both a housing inspector and housing management assistant. That experience led me to my true calling-real estate.

Today, I thrive on the challenge of an ever-changing market, but my greatest passion is helping people through transition-whether buying a first home, investing, downsizing, relocating, or purchasing a second property. Turning dreams into reality is why I do what I do.

I also proudly serve as Secretary of the New England Chapter/Capt. Paul Foye Parents Association at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT, where my son is a first-year Cadet. My daughter, soon to complete her master's degree in Global Business, is following the same call to service as she prepares to submit her Officer Package to the United States Coast Guard. In our family, service isn't just a value it's a way of life.

Outside real estate, I'm passionate about:

Family

Dogs

Travel

Competition

Community involvement

Being on or in the water
