Erica earned every one of these stars. I took a quick look through her other reviews, and I agree with everything I read. Erica is my idea of the ideal realtor: she is level-headed, matter-of-fact and extremely competent. My first impression of Erica was when she must have drawn the short straw and had to show a foreclosed property on the weekend. In retrospect, it's entertaining to remember how she diplomatically and doggedly pointed out the areas of 'concern' inherent to a property which, in all honesty, will most likely have to be leveled in order to sell. She then guided us through a search for a home within our price range and showed that same expertise with each property viewed. She provided expert guidance on the negotiations (the first house we didn't get, as it evolved into a bidding war, and rather than push a sale, so she could get her commission, Erica gave us her excellent evaluation of the appropriate price, essentially informing us that offering anything beyond that could only be justified by our particular desire for that property, and not by the comparables in the area. That was excellent, EXCELLENT advice, and certainly not characteristic of realtors that I have dealt with in the past.) Erica helped us find a fantastic house in an amazing neighborhood, and again went to bat for us in the negotiations, and in all honesty, I almost feel guilty that we paid as little as we did. I could go on, but what would probably be most helpful to a reader of this review is that, in my opinion, Erica's hallmark quality is her reserve. She is not a "cheerleader" realtor who simply wants to drive a sale. She is thoughtful, intelligent and has a good sense of humor, but she doesn't allow her personality to interfere with the guidance she should and does provide to her clients. Without question, and outstanding real estate professional who has raised my opinion of the field. You can't go wrong going with Erica. I'd give 10 stars if I could. 10/16/18

When we made the decision to buy, we looked at a bunch of places on our own, but decided we wanted a broker. Erica was our first call. We closed today on the first place she showed us, and, having bought and sold several houses now, I can honestly say this was the smoothest transaction I?ve ever experienced. "We first started contemplating the idea to relocate to CT from FL in 2016. We started looking for realtors that were knowledgeable and have the patience to explain the process of buying a house since we were first time home buyers. We started working with one realtor; however, she was very quick to tell us that the house would sell quickly if we didn't make an offer. I felt that she wasn't considerate of the distance (since we were still in Florida) and also would not even make the effort to explain to us if the house we were interested in had any flaws or if it was a good buy. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with her and started looking into other realtors. I then bumped into Erica Walker and her team. She was extremely helpful from the beginning to the end of the process. She never dropped the ball and at all times she was right on top of everything making this process seamless (considering the distance). Several times when we would tell her we were interested in a house she took the time to go with my brother in law and she would point out the things that were wrong with it. Then she would call me and let me know if it was a good property or not and if it was in a nice location or not. Erica is extremely knowledgeable, and she is just amazing at what she does. She guided us through everything and knowing that we were in Florida and we could only go to CT on certain days to look at the houses, she accommodated us in her busy schedule and made time for us in order to show us the houses that we were interested in.
