Donna Mizak did a wonderful job of taking my sister and I through the emotionally fraught task of selling our Father's home of almost 50 years.
She secured an offer on the house within the first week of its being listed. When we needed a landscaper or a handyman for repairs and esthetic upgrades, Donna took it upon herself to find those individuals for us. She did the same in arranging for a company to do a radon remediation. Donna made multiple trips to the Trumbull Town Hall to get needed documents for us, and was very helpful in keeping working relations running smoothly with the buyers' Realtor and lawyer.

These days it's become a trite expression for service orientated companies to state that they desire to "exceed expectation." Most do not and, in fact, rarely meet expectations. Donna Mizak, Raveis Realty in Trumbull, CT definitely exceeded my expectations during the recent sales of my parent's home. She went way above the realtor "duty call" of only listing and showing a home. She hired a plumber and mason for repairs, arranged for termite control, snow plowing, cleaning, tag sale (including placing an ad for the sale) and auction. In addition, she visited the home three times a week prior to the sale to make sure that the boiler had sufficient steam during this cold winter. The day before the closing, she took care of a window pane broken during the removal of contents. And believe it or not, that same day, not satisfied with the cleaning service, "broom swept" the home herself. This was an outstanding example of service above and beyond for which Donna deserved a medal.
