Good job! You landed on the right page…Buying a home? Selling one? I’ve got you covered. I may not be a youngster, but that has its advantages, you know. I’ve lived in the Pioneer Valley for 53 years now. Think about that for a second: you need to buy or sell a home; you want someone with extensive experience who is willing to work tirelessly on your behalf. If you’re an out-of-towner and you plan to settle in the Five College area, you need a REALTOR® who knows the region inside and out. If you give me a few hints about what you’re looking for I can tell you thoughtfully and quickly the areas and homes that may be of most interest to you. And I can tell you a lot more than that; I can recommend services, eateries, events, great things to do with your kids. Think of me as your custom smart phone! If you’re not new to the area, my experience and expertise will allow me to align with your wish list and find you the perfect home in your chosen location; or, if you’re selling, I will guide you knowledgeably and confidently through that process as well, ensuring you get the best possible market price for your home. You can be sure that with my years of navigating the real estate industry, I’ll see your transaction(s) through with a minimum of fuss, including utilizing my extensive network to provide you with recommendations for all required services throughout the process. And who am I, you ask? I am an Amherst resident now, and raised my two kids with my husband in the nearby town of Shutesbury. We owned the Jeff Bookshop across from the Amherst Common for many years, which was perfect for our family of heavy readers. Though Bob is no longer with me, we both hail from Michigan, and began our adventure back east shortly after my daughter Abby was born. I loved it here immediately; the cultural activities, the beauty of the land, the great educational opportunities that give the whole area its lively attitude with the influx of young people each fall. As for my kids, I’m lucky enough to have my son Tom and his family right here in Amherst, while Abby makes her home in Denver. Extra-curriculars: I got into theater back in the late 70s, have been doing performances of all sorts for many years in the area now. I love attending theater, too and am so grateful for the Amherst Cinema. Speaking of which, travel is another of my favorites, as well as just settling in to my favorite chair with a cup and a great book! My personal odyssey has led me to a wide collection of friends on a colorful array of journeys of their own. I sure hope you become one of them. Enough said. Call me! I can’t wait to help you on your journey.
