Clayton Pottle, former owner of Pottle Realty Group, is Managing Broker with William Raveis Real Estate. Clayton was an insurance agent from 1973-2001 and a part-owner of J. Edward Knight & Co. In 1988 he and his co-owner opened Lewis & Pottle Realty. After acquiring the Ethelyn Giles and DeWolfe Colburn real estate offices, the name was changed to Pottle Realty Group. Clayton has over 30 years of experience in the real estate business. He has been very involved in local organizations and held offices in many. He was a member of the Southport Fire Dept, local Booster’s Club, Little League, Lion’s Club, Rebuilding Together, etc. Clayton is also a nearly 30-year veteran basketball official at the high school and college level and is a member of the Executive Committee of the local state board. He is married to his high school sweetheart, and they have been married 46+ years. They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
