This home search was extremely important to us as we were looking for this home to be the one that we lived in for the long run. We have two young children and wanted the perfect place to raise our family. Foolishly, we initially thought that the search would only take a few months. However, it ended up taking almost a full year.
During this entire time, Cecilia was extremely supportive, responsive, and helpful. She kept us informed of every potential opportunity that met our criteria. She was extremely creative in terms of the options that she presented to us. Cecilia is extremely well connected in the area and she always seemed to be a step ahead of what was going on in the local real estate market. We cannot stress enough how patient Cecilia was with us during the entire search. We can think of at least three houses that we looked at, had some interest in, went back and looked at again, strongly considered, discussed, etc, and then ultimately decided not to pursue. Cecilia was never pushy during these scenarios. She challenged us so that she could better understand our decision making process, which ultimately allowed her to have a better sense of what things were important to us.
When we did find the right home, it was an incredibly competitive situation. The house ended up having over ten offers within one day of the first showing! Cecilia led us through this extremely unique situation with guidance in terms of our offer strategy. She pointed out little things that we could do to differentiate our offer from others. She even helped us write a letter to the Sellers at 10pm on a Sunday night to help express our interest in the property! Cecilia was absolutely the difference maker that ultimately led to our offer being accepted. She has the relationships with other realtors in the market as well as their trust and respect. She also has the knowledge and experience to navigate through challenging and unique situations.
