Cathy Folts brings high energy and a diverse background in financial services, teaching, and entrepreneurial experience to her work as a realtor. Prior to joining Raveis, Cathy managed a short-term money market fund, taught Spanish and founded her own design company Concord Pillows, LLC. Her work experience in finance gives her an advantage in assessing real estate market data and how local markets connect to the broader economic picture; the skills that brought her success as a teacher, including patience, strong communication skills and focus on her individual students' needs, serve her well in her client relationships. Her passion for design and her creativity have fueled her success with her company Concord Pillows, where she has honed her talent for marketing through social media.
Personal
A graduate of Wellesley College, Cathy’s first career was in the financial services industry. After living overseas in both London and Barcelona, she became an educator teaching Spanish at Concord Academy and then at Groton School, where she also served as Head of the Modern Language Department. After retiring from Groton, Cathy founded the company Concord Pillows, LLC through which she designed and marketed boutique home décor items. Cathy's husband grew up in Concord and they have deep roots in the community. Their son attended Fenn School, following in his father's footsteps. Fritz also attended Middlesex School. Cathy is an avid golfer and has been a member of Concord Country Club for over twenty years. She also enjoys long walks that take her through the many beautiful neighborhoods of this lovely, historic town. A lifelong passion for interior design and luxury fabrics led her to founding the company Concord Pillows, LLC, through which she designed, marketed and sold high end home decor items.

Cathy is a strong supporter of the arts and serves on the Board of The Umbrella Arts Center in Concord, where she is the Chair of the Board Governance Committee.

Cathy's fluency in Spanish allows her to serve a wide range of clients, including those who are relocating internationally. She learned Spanish while living in Barcelona, where she attended the University of Barcelona while her husband worked on his MBA at IESE.
