Personal

Massachusetts is in my blood. My family arrived here on the Mayflower almost 400 years ago, with my relative Edward Doty signing the Mayflower Compact. During the American Revolution, my family operated The Doten Tavern on the foot of the Blue Hills in Milton, where Revolutionaries met in secret to discuss ending the reign of The British Empire on our shores. I grew up in Milton, only a couple of miles from where that tavern once stood, and every time I drive through the Blue Hills I feel a deep connection to Milton, and to all of Massachusetts, knowing that my family played their part in creating this great state of ours. If “home is where the heart is”, then as a licensed Realtor it is my duty to find the best home for your heart. It is my responsibility to shepherd my clients through the biggest emotional and financial transaction of their lives, and that is a privilege I take to heart. A 24 hour dedication to customer service, exhaustive research into the latest market trends and using William Raveis’s unparalleled reputation, brand recognition and marketing tools is the recipe for an exemplary experience and the road map to being a good Realtor. However, becoming a truly great Realtor requires something more: empathy, love and vision. The ability to look past the simple bricks and mortar, past the square footage and the landscaping, until you can truly feel the memories of a place come alive and envelop you in its warm embrace. A great Realtor needs to love their job, and feel a deep connection to everything that makes a place unique while also having the vision to see the endless possibilities of all the new people and new memories that’re still to come. A truly great Realtor understands that what makes a house become a home are the people, and that our most important job is taking care of the people we call clients. I was an extremely active kid, and I took full advantage of all the great activities Milton has to offer, playing Baseball, Hockey, Football, Basketball, Soccer and Golf while also participating in a children’s theater group. I was also in the French Immersion program in the Milton Public Schools and by 7th grade I was guiding my parents through Paris and speaking like a native. For high school I attended St. Sebastian’s School, an all boys Catholic prep-school in Needham. -Varsity Baseball; The International Club; SADD Chapter (Students Against Destructive Decisions) After graduating St. Seb’s, I attended Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT -English Major; Philosophy Minor After leaving Fairfield, I began volunteering at Children’s Hospital in Boston at the Adolescent Substance Abuse Program, where I counseled young people and their families on how to live a new life in recovery from Alcohol and Drug abuse. -Lectured 1st Year Med Students at Tufts Medical School; Won a national community service award from SAMHSA (Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration) and the NREBP (National Registry of Evidence Based Practice) for my work at Children’s. In 2011, I began working in the Hospitality Industry and eventually worked my way up into a Management role. -Manager and Director of Catering Operations at Jasper White’s Summer Shack Cambridge, MA June 2015- September 2017 In my free time I love spending time with my amazing girlfriend Erin, who is a 1st year French Teacher and one of the youngest teachers in the state, and my wonderful family and friends. I am a voracious reader, interested mostly in True Crime, Business, History and Thrillers. I am also a diehard sports fan who loves The Celtics, Pats, Sox and B’s and looks forward to The Masters all year. Movies and TV are also passions of mine, with some of my favorites being The Godfather, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Step Brothers, The Sopranos, American Horror Story, Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm (recommendations are always welcome!). I can't wait to work with each and every one of you!
