Al N Filippone has a Masters degree and sixth year certificate from Fairfield University and began his career in real estate in 1987. Driven by his unique marketing style and results oriented objective, he quickly became a leader in local real estate forming the area's first real estate "Team" in 1998. He has been cited as an expert real estate trainer and marketer of fine properties. Al's accomplishments and market insights have been documented in numerous print media, including the renowned "New York Times" Sunday real estate section. He is a licensed broker in Connecticut, New York and Florida. He is the author of BOOM: There Goes Your Resolve, an easy read synopsis on how to achieve ultimate success in your real estate transactions for both real estate agents and homeowners.

Team AFA at William Raveis Real Estate consists of 48 sales specialists located in Fairfield, Westport, Darien, and Greenwich, CT, and on the Upper East Side in NYC. The team has been recognized by Real Trends Annual Report as one of the most successful real estate teams in Fairfield County, and the state of Connecticut for seventeen consecutive years. Al is a former member of the Connecticut Audubon Society and the Trust for Historic Preservation. He is an annual donor and volunteer to Camp Rising Sun, an organization for children with cancer that is affiliated with the American Cancer Society, and currently donates monthly to St. Jude and Shriners hospitals for children along with Wounded Warriors and Tunnel to Towers in honor of current and veteran service members.
