Growing up outside of Detroit, MI, I studied ballet, went to as many rock concerts as I could, and dreamed of the big city and bright lights. My chance came In 1984 when I moved to NYC to join Ford Models Inc. I traveled throughout Europe, Asia and parts of Northern Africa. Finding I had an ear for languages, I picked up Italian and German. I gained perspective on how others live and came to understand there are many ways to live a good life. I bring careful listening and this awareness of diversity to my real estate career. Since creating Berkshire Rental Properties in 2005, I have not only acquired a wealth of knowledge of what makes for a solid investment property, I’ve also forged lasting relationships and have gotten to see the variety of ways people enjoy the Berkshires. I work hard to make good matches for every buyer and seller. Buying and selling real estate can often feel intimidating. I aim to take some of the mystery and uneasiness out of this process. I like to think of myself as a guide with the contacts, knowledge, and experience to help any buyer or seller. "FAVORITE PASTIMES: Hiking, cooking, gardening & listening to music—both live and recorded. Oh, and I LOVE shoes! MOST PEOPLE WOULDN’T KNOW: I performed at Jacob’s Pillow when I was 18 years old. It was a modern piece called Your Basic Buck and Wing, choreographed by Matthew Diamond. Being used to ballet, this was the first time I ever took my shoes off to dance and it was liberating! I still love to enjoy dance at The Pillow. MOST PEOPLE WOULDN’T KNOW: I lived on a houseboat on the Seine in Paris. I answered an ad in the International Herald Tribune: “Magnificent Houseboat for Rent.” During the fall of 1985, three other fashion models and I shared the Vanderbuilt Yacht that had served as a naval officers’ retreat during the war."
