Professional Specialty

The many years of experience in the municipal government land use arena has prepared me for my real estate career in many ways. A seasoned professional, former ZEO/Wetlands Agent/Admin, I have worked directly with town officials with many complex land use/building issues and assisted the public with the permitting process. Understanding building code, applying zoning and wetlands regulations and reading building and site plans were all part of my responsibilities. Understanding land use when I am working with clients with either buying or selling properties, residential or commercial, certainly gives me an advantage with working through issues and advising my clients through the process.

Personal

I am a life-long CT resident with most of my life rooted in the Northeast Quiet Corner. I have raised my family here and am a proud mom of two grown children and three beautiful granddaughters that I enjoy spending time with. I am involved in the local community, business associations and support their activities and fundraisers that are so important with connecting us to the needs of our community and for mentoring opportunities. I have a named fund called: "Tina Lajoie Housing Security Fund" through the Community Foundation of Eastern CT that gives back to our local community each year. The 2022 grant recipient was Kasia's Hope, a Sober home located in Putnam, CT, that received $1,000 toward their program.
