Community Involvement
Supporting Anita's advocacy for children's literacy, Anita regularly co-chaired the Scholastic Bookfair to fund technology in the classroom and upgraded playground equipment and enjoyed volunteering for reading groups. Among Anita's most fulfilling experiences were the 150 mile cycling trips with Bike MS - Cape Cod Getaway to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis with friends.
